Aquaticode presented at Frisk Fisk 2025 on reducing sea-phase mortality

Aquaticode was invited to present at Frisk Fisk 2025, a leading Norwegian conference focused on fish health and sustainable aquaculture.

The event, organized by Tekna, brought together experts from across the industry to discuss timely and relevant topics—from disease management to welfare innovation.

Aquaticode’s CEO, Stian Rognlid, presented how the company’s AI phenotyping technology can support efforts to reduce sea-phase mortality in line with the Norwegian government’s 5% target. By identifying individual fish with lower survival potential early in the production cycle, hatcheries can improve robustness, reduce losses, and use resources more efficiently.

The presentation was part of a broader industry shift toward proactive tools that deliver better outcomes—for both fish and farmers.
