AquaSur 2024: Unveiling the future of fish sorting with SORTpro
We were excited to present SORTpro at AquaSur, introducing our groundbreaking AI-based sorting machine to the aquaculture community.
SORTpro represents a significant leap forward in fish sorting technology, capable of processing up to 10,000 fish per hour according to kjønn and other performance traits with precision and care, increasing productivity by 15-35%. This innovation is set to revolutionise the way we sort fish, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
We delved into the technological advancements that make SORTpro a game-changer, including its integration of intelligent software with advanced mechanical hardware, dual-sensor imaging, and the application of deep learning AI for decision-making.
Looking ahead, we shared our vision for the solution as a dynamic AI platform that will expand to include advanced health diagnostics and further enhance fish welfare and performance. Our collaboration with leading salmon companies and institutions through e.g. the NephroReduce project and the support from Chilean and Norwegian early adopters highlight the industry’s confidence in SORTpro‘s potential.
As we wrap up our presentation at AquaSur, we’re inspired by the enthusiasm and support for SORTpro. The conference has been an excellent opportunity to showcase our commitment to innovation and sustainability in aquaculture, and we’re excited for what the future holds.
